The invisible keyboard by Kräutli uses iPhone’s built-in three-dimesnional accelerometer to translate vibrations created by tapping on a virtual keyboard. The Swiss designer provides a paper keyboard as a guideline to help calibrate the software. The software collects the frequencies of the vibrations to convert them to a simulated key stroke. Who said you can not have a full size keyboard with a smartphone? This is pretty awesome and I am sure we will be seeing more of these kind of applications in the near future.
